Help Santa Rosa Rebuild

Help Santa Rosa Rebuild

There are many organizations working to help residents of Santa Rosa to begin to put their lives back together after the devastating wildfires.  These three will directly benefit the local area and its residents.

Redwood Credit Union

Redwood Credit Union (RCU), in partnership with RCU Community Fund, The Press Democrat, and Senator Mike McGuire, is now accepting financial donations to aid relief efforts and assist victims of the 2017 North Bay fires. 100% of your donations will go directly to support those affected by the fires.

Because the devastating fires affected numerous counties, you will have the opportunity to donate to the county of your choosing, including Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, and Lake County. You may also choose to donate to all counties (your funds will be distributed equally among all four counties).

Redwood Empire Food Bank

The REFB is currently providing critical food to shelters for our neighbors displaced by fires. As of Tuesday evening, 55,000 pounds of food had been delivered to Sonoma County evacuation centers, the equivalent of 110,000 meals. In addition, we are working to ensure that those who needed food assistance before the fires are still able to access our help.  In order for us to continue meeting the existing need and increase our provision of help, we need your support.

Make a financial donation. We have the capacity to increase the amount of food we provide to the community - we just need the financial resources to make this possible.

Humane Society of Sonoma County

Your donation is crucial as the days & weeks of this terrible disaster unfold. Your support will help us care for homeless injured stray animals and provide no-cost burn treatment for fire victims. Donate today!
